The Closing Seminar of the International Project BART Public Private Partnership in Barents Tourism was held on 17th - 18th April 2013 in Rovaniemi, Finland.

The Closing Seminar presented the outcomes of the project BART Public Private Partnership in Barents Tourism.  Action plan for Barents tourism was presented which is a research and training plan for tourism development in public-private partnership cooperation. Action plan consists of five action areas which are cooperation, education and knowledge, accessibility and transportation infrastructure, product development and place identity where Finland, Sweden, Arkhangelsk, Murmansk and Norway has been working with these action areas.

Keynote speakers were Alain A. Grenier from University of  Quebec in Montreal and María José Zapata Campos from University of Gothenburg. Third keynote was a Kairi Pääsuke from The Barents Euro-Arctic Region JOINT Working Group on tourism.

BART - Public-Private Partnership in Barents Tourism project activities confirm the cross-border cooperation of Barents region's tourism stakeholders (educational organizations, regional authorities, businesses and business support organization). Project is joining together tourism stakeholders from all four countries of the Barents region: Finland, Russia, Sweden and Norway.
