Barents Tourism Workshop

The Barents Tourism Workshop was held from the 10th to the 12th of October in Rovaniemi. About 30 Swedish, Norwegian, Russian and Finnish students and teachers participated in the workshop. The main idea  was to enhance the cooperation between students and teachers from the field of Tourism in the Barents region and to create a common view of the tourism study done in the area, as well to change experiences and learn from each other.

The Workshop was held in the MTI Library, Korundi House of culture and in Arktikum. The hosts thank all the participants as well all those who made it possible to organize the event. The workshop was partly financed by The North Calotte Council and the Norwegian Barents Secretariat
